Guts for Garters present a glorious free entry night of upbeat acoustic-ish and indie rock exuberance at the Harrison. This evening of exciting and entertaining live music is hosted by indie rock troubadours Albino, and features foot stompin’ performances from:
Albino: London’s greatest alcoholic garage rock band (probably). They’re a whisky-fuelled misdemeanour in musical form that encapsulate a throwback, vintage rock sound, embellished with thumping rock riffs and sprinklings of americana (plus a good swig of whiskey).
Paul Hawkins and Thee Awkward Silences: London’s premier outsider pop mavericks. Paul Hawkins is a London-based singer-songwriter who has been a key figure in London’s antifolk scene. He regularly records in collaboration with Death in Vegas and Dot Allison guitarist Ian Button (also formerly of the Thrashing Doves) and a 6-piece band under the name of Paul Hawkins & The Awkward Silences.
Heroes Of The Last Age: Just fans of music, They are not fans of a specific kind of music. They just happen to be a rock band. It’s because that is what they like doing.
