Burning Salt, Mark Waldron & Sailing Stones

Dark, haunting & beautiful, Hannah Hull’s voice is unique & startling. Living somewhere between country, soul & folk, her songs reflect the rawness of Leonard Cohen, Dusty Springfield & Gillian Welch. Burning Salt is Hannah Hull, Bobby Williams (electric guitar) & Ben Somers (double bass).

“Mark Waldron is like a magpie picking super-sophisticated mixtures of gold and dross from an immense linguistic landfill”
(The Guardian)

The poet Mark Waldron was born in New York, and has worked in advertising for many years. His first collection of poems, The Brand New Dark, was published by Salt in 2008, followed by The Itchy Sea in 2011. Meanwhile, Trees is his third collection published by Bloodaxe Books in 2016.

Waldron was runner-up in the 2006 New Writing Ventures prize, and he was listed by the Poetry Book Society as a Next Generation Poet in their 2014 list. He lives in East London.

“Captivating, in a similar vein to Lucy Rose or to early Laura Marling, set apart by the spacious melancholy that’s all its own”
(The Line of Best Fit)

Dublin-born singer songwriter Jenny Lindfors returns with a new moniker and new music. Lindfors voice is seraphic, and she possesses extraordinary, poetic songwriting ability. The nostalgia of her chosen sounds, with a spectrum ranging from Laurel Canyon to the analogue ambiences of Bladerunner and Vangelis, enhance the empathetic quality of this inspired, wise music..
