FOLKROOM FORTNIGHTLY @ The Harrison | London | England | United Kingdom

A stellar line-up will be playing for us at this gig – and you can come for free!

THE SWEEPLINGS – Our very special headliners, The Sweeplings’ moody, emotive folk-pop has us very excited for this gig. Cami Bradley made it all the way to the final of America’s Got Talent in 2013, and has since teamed up with singer-songwriter Whitney Dean, who has toured with The Civil Wars (a clear influence on the band’s sound). We can’t wait to welcome the duo, and their captivating music, to the Folkroom stage.

SPECIAL GUEST! – We know, nobody likes secrets. Of course, a special guest slot at Folkroom guarantees someone good. Really good. Rather than reveal too much we’ll say this: You’d be a fool to miss this act. Delightful music from some old friends. Old friends that aren’t Josienne and Ben, we might add. Let’s not mislead. Lovely sounds, mystery and folk music? Secret slots are the best!

LUCAS & KING – We couldn’t wait to have this duo back after their gig for us back in June. They’re such a perfect fit for the rest of our line-up and, above all else, one of the most exciting new acts in the Folkroom circle. Intricate guitar and bluesy jazz-bar vocals, tucked into one act. Perfection.

STEPHEN HALLAM – Sheffield’s finest Americana export, Stephen Hallam writes simple, moving songs that recall Neil Young’s less extravagant moments of genius. Frankly, we prefer Stephen out of the two.
