London’s original Now compilation covers night returns once again with our biggest, silliest, most triumphant gig yet! If you’ve missed our previous nights, here’s the rub: we are going to try and cover as much of the classic album Now 50 as we possibly can in one evening!
One of the series’ greatest albums, Now 50 came out in November 2001 and features indisputable classics from the likes of Kylie, Sum 41 and Destiny’s Child. There’s also a wealth of songs from the cream of Britain’s pop bands – or maybe the skin that settles on top of the cream when it’s left out a little too long.
Our THEN! nights are frequently described as the most fun gigs our audience have ever been to – bright, guilt-free nights that often descend into evangelical cult-like singalongs.
Folkroom’s finest, including Louis Brennan, Alex Alex, Winterfalle, Tom Hyatt, Sincere Deceivers and Izzy Bates will be bringing you a selection of the greatest pop songs from the third financial quarter of 2001. Expect Wheatus, Blue and Daft Punk. Eagerly await Afroman, DJ Otzi and Supermen Lovers. Try desperately to remember who City High were.
Tickets are £6 (here), or £10 on the door. These events tend to sell out, due mainly to the fact that they are the single best thing that will ever happen to you*.
