About The Harrison

The Harrison was originally built in the1880's by Samuel Harrison as an establishment to refresh the workers in his shoe factory.

The current building pub was built in 1934 during the Deco movement.

Today The Harrison is an elegent and calm place to enjoy a well prepared drink,

an excellent meal and perhaps some quality live music.

Time Out says - "Practically Miraculous",

"a smart but unpretentious spot for a decent pint,
a natter and a Sunday roast",

"gastropub fare is well put together and fairly priced"

Since 2004 The Harrison has been independently operated by Londoner Paul Michelmore with the unwavering help of Manageress Sophie and Assistant Manager Dan.

We are driven by the desire to create a friendly local public house, without pretentions, serving the very best food and drinks we can. We hope we continue to achieve this.

The Harrison opened is Basement to the public in April 2012 & has quickly become an important venue on the folk/Americana live music scene.

We also host jazz, comedy, theatre, film and sporting events.

If you would like to book a table/area or hire the basement for your private party/event/gig then please call us on 020 7278 3966.
